Around the district

Unless otherwise noted, activities represented in these posted flyers are not sponsored by the Sumner School District, and the District assumes no responsibility for conduct or safety of the event or activity. In consideration for the privilege to post these flyers, the Sumner School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action, claim, or petition filed in any court arising out of the distribution of these materials.

Posting to the Community Flyer Bulletin Board
In accordance with Board Policy 5137 that prohibits selling or soliciting in schools, on a limited basis, Sumner School District will post flyers on the District Web site only for non-profit organizations within the Sumner School District, which are youth/education-related.  

Distribution of print materials is strictly limited to the Sumner School District or organizations directly related to the District, such as the Recreation Department, STARR Project, ASB, PTA/PTO and school booster clubs.

All requests for distribution of materials from commercial groups or for-profit organizations will be denied.

Materials that contain graphic, violent or lewd images, profanity or sexual innuendo will not be approved for posting. Materials that promote events or organizations that provides or promotes alcohol, drugs, tobacco, guns or weapons will not be approved for posting.

• To submit a request, complete a Request for posting to the Community Flyer Bulletin Board form.
• Submit request by e-mail, be sure to include a sample flyer in PDF format along with the completed request form. 
• Notification of approval status will be sent within 3 to 5 working days.
